The metering pump is mainly composed of three parts: power drive, fluid transport and regulation control. The power drive device drives the fluid transport diaphragm (piston) to reciprocate via a mechanical linkage system. The diaphragm (piston) will be sucked by the transport fluid in the first half of the stroke and discharge the fluid out of the pump head in the second half of the stroke. Therefore, the reciprocating motion of the stroke is changed. The frequency or the stroke length of each reciprocating motion can reach the regulated fluid delivery amount.
