Dalan Motor Depth Secret: Blade pump special oil pump motor winding welding is the key, must remember!

June 12, 2023

Motor winding welding is the key production process of the motor production process, such as the welding of the winding wire and the wire, the welding of the wire and the lead wire, the welding of the copper bar rotor bar and the end ring, etc., all of which are directly related to the motor. The operational reliability, today Dalan Motor Xiaobian talks with everyone about the blade pump special oil pump motor winding welding method.

Welding methods can be divided into two main categories: fusion welding and brazing.

The fusion welding directly fuses the two workpieces together, and the metal at the joint is heated to a molten state to complete the welding.

Brazing uses a metal material having a lower melting point than the base material as a brazing filler metal, heating the weldment and the brazing material to a temperature higher than the melting point of the brazing filler metal and lower than the melting temperature of the base metal, and moisturizing the base material with the liquid brazing filler metal to fill the joint gap and The base metal is mutually diffused to achieve joint welding.

Common welding methods for motor windings:

Silver brazing (gas welding)

The welding method is suitable for applications where the operating current is high and the temperature is high, and the reliability requirements are high. It is also the welding method adopted by most motor manufacturers. The welding equipment is an acetylene oxygen welding torch. When welding, in order to prevent the insulation of the motor wire near the wire head, the asbestos rope should be wrapped around the line. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent solder and flux from flowing into the gap of the coil, and burn the insulation to cause a short circuit.

Soldering

Soldering is convenient and the soldering points are firm, so the application is most common, but the operating temperature is low. Commonly used soldering is soldering and soldering. When the number of welding heads is large, a method of pouring tin can be used. Due to the limitation of the low melting point of the solder tin, it is only used in small motors and motor windings with low temperature rise.

Arc welding

When the wire of the winding is thin, it can be welded by arc welding. The characteristic of arc welding is that it does not require flux, which is quick and convenient. However, when multiple parallels and more wires are used, if the operation is unskilled, it is easy to be leaked or not welded.

Copper and aluminum welding oxygen welding

When soldering, first connect the copper wire or copper lead to the tin, and then wrap the scraped aluminum wire on the copper wire and make the aluminum wire slightly higher than the copper wire. A layer of aluminum solder powder is applied, and the aluminum wire is melted by a gas-welded neutral flame to fuse the aluminum to the top of the copper to form a spherical solder joint. This method is adopted in the welding process of the wire and lead of many motor factories.

Argon arc welding

Argon arc welding is based on the principle of ordinary arc welding. It uses argon gas to protect the metal welding material. The high current causes the welding material to melt into a liquid state on the material to be welded to form a molten pool, so that the metal to be welded and the welding material can be reached. A welding technique of metallurgical bonding, because argon gas is continuously supplied in high-temperature fusion welding, the welding material cannot be in contact with oxygen in the air, thereby preventing oxidation of the welding consumable.

High frequency induction brazing

Induction brazing is to place the metal workpieces that need to be welded (usually mostly copper) in the induction coil, pass high-frequency alternating current, generate an induced electromagnetic field, and generate an induced electromotive force on the surface of the workpiece to form an induced eddy current on the metal surface, which is generated on the metal surface. The eddy current heat is generally applied to the welding site, and the welding powder can be welded until the workpiece reaches the melting temperature of the solder.

Medium frequency induction brazing

The medium frequency induction brazing equipment is to assemble the surface-cleaned workpieces in an overlapping manner, and place the brazing material near the joint gap or between the joint gaps.
